Eisenhower Health has been a leader in the field of health care in the Coachella Valley since we first opened our doors in 1971. Named for President Dwight D. Eisenhower, the hospital credits its initial creation to two events in 1966; when entertainer Bob Hope was not only asked to lend his prestigious name to a charity golf tournament but was also invited to serve on the hospital’s board, which would eventually be constructed using the proceeds from the tournament. Today, the Eisenhower name is synonymous with exceptional care, extending far beyond our advanced hospital.
